Q: You guys have done a nice job and achieved a lot is a short time. The online Diary is really good. All the best for you final presentation. A couple of suggestions... How about including a contact email address for yourselves. Also, your choice of PCB design software is not widely used and the schematics are in a custom format. Can you save the schematics in a standard format which could be imported into ORCAD for example.
A: Thanks a lot for your comments. The software we used (Altium Protel DXP 2004) is quite popular in our part of the world due to its low cost and (relative) simplicity. I will take some time to put the schematics into another format at the end of the project (after the inspection) but i'm not sure how much use they will be - there are so many libraries and parts we have drawn ourselves it might be just as useful in PDF.
